Forty-eight photographers submitted 240 photos for consideration by our juror for Columbus Photographers 2015! Of those 240 submissions, 45 will be selected for the exhibit, which will be unveiled at the opening reception on Friday, September 4, 6-8:00pm in our gallery, 1004 Broadway. The reception is free and open to the public, so tell everyone you know who enjoys creative photography, and bring your friends and family.
The large number of entries (and the limited space in our gallery), assures a dynamic exhibit, showcasing some of the most artistic photography produced by Columbus photographers in the past two years. For those of you new to our annual exhibit, a note about the jurying process: we always select jurors who live and work outside Columbus, to insure impartiality. We also take the additional step of renaming every submitted photo before the juror ever sees it. This year’s juror, Donna Rosser, will make her selection on merit alone.
