John wants to show us an Iraq that will surprise us. During 2009 and 2010, he served as photographer for the Commanding General of Ft. Benning, who recruited him to travel to the middle east in 2011 to provide many levels of photography solutions working directly with U.S., NATO, and Iraqi leaders. In 2012, he served as Chief U.S. Photographer for Iraq Operations, supporting various military and State Department assets.
